The Center is located in St.
Luke's Medical Tower, the hallmark of Texas Medical Center which is the
largest Medical Center in the world. The medical director is
affiliated with the St. Luke's
Hospital, the Methodist
Hospital, and
Hermann Hospital, the three
major teaching hospitals in the Medical Center.
Dr. Shaibani is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at
Baylor College of
Medicine.
He is also a diplomat of the
American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, of the subspecialty of Neurophysiology, and of the
American Board of Electrodiagnostic
Medicine.
Dr. Shaibani is a fellow of the
American College of Physicians (FACP), a title granted to physicians
with distinguished achievements in internal medicine. He
has co-authored several book chapters, published several papers in
peer reviewed journals and presented talks to local and national
Neurology and neuromuscular meetings.
Dr. Shaibani is a fellow of the
American Association of the Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Academy of
Neurology. He is an active member of the American Medical
Association, American Academy of Clinical
Neurophysiology, Texas Medical
Association, Houston Neurological Society, Texas Neurological
Association, and Harris County Medical
Society.
