I have had PN now for about two years and it is getting worse. I was told to take an EMG and the cost is $800!!! I was wondering if this test is really necessary? And I heard it is painful. The pain in my feet is an 8 on the scale of 1-10. I am taking Lyrica and it seems to help some especially at night. It just makes me tired feeling. Mobic or prednisone for pain also helps a little. Thanks
